Ronald J. Nightingale, B.A., LL.B.         Ron graduated from Queen’s Law School, following which he articled in Hamilton.  After his call to the Bar he worked with a Hamilton firm for several years and then commenced practicing on his own.  He has focused his practice on corporate/commercial and real estate law and for the past several years worked extensively as corporate counsel for the Canadian subsidiary of a U.S. financial services company. In addition to spending time with his family, Ron has served on the boards of a number of volunteer and charitable organizations.  Recently, he served on the board of Tele Touch, an organization dedicated to assisting seniors to continue to live independently and on a chaplaincy committee serving the McMaster University community.  In the past he has also been a member of a number of Hamilton business organizations and recently joined the Waterloo Region chapter of the Canadian Christian Business Federation of which he is a member. Ron looks forward to continuing to practice in the areas of corporate/commercial and real estate law with Sorbara, Schumacher, McCann LLP and becoming involved in the Kitchener community.
