Steven K. Kenney, Hons B.A., M.A., LL.B.
Born in the small northern town of Kapuskasing, Steve Kenney has traveled the countryside.  He pursued his education in a variety of communities, obtaining an Honours B.A. in Psychology from Brock University, an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a diploma in Human Resources from the University of Toronto.  He then graduated from the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law and was called the Bar of British Columbia in 1982.  After becoming a partner at Fulton & Co. in Kamloops, Steve returned to Ontario and has remained in the K-W area since being called to the Bar of Ontario in 1988.  He obtained a Law Society of Upper Canada specialty certificate in civil litigation in 2002 and currently practices primarily in the area of medical malpractice and personal injury, though he maintains an interest in corporate and commercial matters as well as employment law.  Steve remains very active with various trial lawyer associations including the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association where he acted as co-chair of the medical malpractice section from 1996-2002, Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, Advocates’ Society, Canadian Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Arbitration Association.  He balances work with travel, biking, camping, cottage and family.
