Ron graduated from Queen’s Law School in 1989 and began his practice in the areas of corporate/commercial and real
estate law in Hamilton, Ontario. In 2002, Ron joined SorbaraLaw where he continues to focus his practice in various
aspects of business law. Ron regularly acts for a diverse range of business enterprises involved in such commercial
activities as sales and distribution, manufacturing, land development, software and other product development,
construction and finance. He provides legal advice and services at all stages of commercial transactions, from initial
negotiations, to the drafting of agreements, contracts and other transactional documents, to final closing. Ron’s
significant areas of practice include: financing, where he acts for both borrowers and institutional lenders; land
development, from the initial purchase of raw land to the registration of subdivision and condominium plans to final
builder sales; commercial leasing; drafting and review of contract and business structuring including incorporation,
partnerships and joint ventures.
Ron is also active in his community serving on numerous boards and committees. Ron’s pragmatic business-minded
approach ensures cost effective and timely results.
