Daniel is a member of SorbaraLAW’s Corporate and Commercial group and his practice ranges from corporate incorporation and governance through to more complex licensing, corporate finance, corporate share and asset acquisitions, and regulatory compliance matters. In addition to his law degree, Daniel holds a Certificate in Negotiating and Drafting IT Agreements from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Prior to his legal career, Daniel was a salesman with one of the world’s largest multinational technology companies and brings with him a nuanced understanding of what makes businesses successful – whether you are a small business owner or a larger international enterprise.
Daniel also brings with him a strong academic record and was accepted into the Golden Key International Honour Society for finishing in the top 15% of his peers during his undergraduate studies. Golden Key is the world’s premier academic honour society, recognizing and encouraging scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines.
In addition to enjoying all that Kitchener-Waterloo has to offer, Daniel is an avid baseball player, guitar player, community advocate, and gardener. Daniel also volunteers as a Trustee of the Waterloo Region Law Association and is a member of the WRLA’s Governance Committee.
Prior to joining the SorbaraLAW team, Daniel articled and practiced in Technology and Business Law at a prominent international business law firm.
