David Byun, B.A. (Hons.), M.A., J.D.
David is a member of our Wills, Estates and Trusts group and his practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation.
David obtained his law degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. While at law school, he worked as a caseworker at Downtown Legal Services and volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada. He also gained legal experience from the City of Toronto’s Legal Services Division and a foreign law firm. Prior to law school, David completed his Honours Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in political science at the University of Toronto, during which he served as a co-chair of the Canadian Centre for Responsibility to Protect (CCR2P) and represented Canada as a member of the Young Leaders Delegation in the Republic of China (Taiwan).
David is a member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Estates and Trusts Section and a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). In his spare time, David enjoys hiking, drawing and singing opera.
