Brittany Zigmond is an associate lawyer in our Wills, Estates and Trusts Group. Brittany’s practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation. She enjoys problem-solving to find the best solutions for her client’s needs. Brittany assists her clients in reaching practical, cost-effective solutions, including litigation where necessary.
Brittany was raised in Brant County and moved to London for her undergraduate studies at Western University. She graduated with distinction in recognition of her place on the Dean’s Honour List and for her participation in the Scholar’s Electives program. Brittany completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa where she graduated cum laude.
During her legal studies, Brittany was involved in Pro Bono Ontario where she assisted self-represented litigants in the Small Claims Court. Brittany also interned at the City of Ottawa in the Legal Services department conducting legal research for the City Solicitor.
Brittany moved to the Waterloo Region to work at a local law office as a summer student and articling student.
In her spare time, Brittany enjoys board games and baking. Brittany also considers herself an “escape artist” having successfully escaped 85 percent of the 40+ escape rooms that she has attempted.
