Katy is a lawyer in SorbaraLaw’s Commercial Real Estate and Finance & Lending Groups. Katy regularly advises institutional and private lenders on a range of financing transactions. Katy assists clients with a variety of transactional matters, including commercial real estate purchases and sales, leases, mortgages and residential condominium development and initial unit sales.

Katy completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph, with a major in Political Science. Katy commenced her law degree at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom in 2011. In addition to her law degree, Katy holds a Masters (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from King’s College – University of London.

Katy completed her Articles with SorbaraLaw before being Called to the Bar in 2016, and worked with the firm as a summer student for three years before commencing her Articles.
