Michael von Keitz is an associate in our Wills, Estates and Trusts Group. Michael’s practice is focused exclusively on estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation.

Michael was raised in Kirkland Lake, birthplace of the late Alan Thicke, and moved to Guelph for his undergraduate and graduate studies in mathematics. Subsequently, Michael attended the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in Thunder Bay. Called to the Ontario Bar in September of 2017, Michael joined our firm following two years of private practice in Guelph.

Michael is a former President of the Chess Federation of Canada and, in his spare time, enjoys both playing the royal game and serving as an International Arbiter in events sanctioned by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
