Sandra is an associate in SorbaraLaw’s litigation group. She assists clients with all aspects of litigation proceedings on a variety of subject matters, including commercial disputes, construction lien claims, tort claims and power of sale proceedings.
Prior to joining SorbaraLaw, Sandra articled and practiced as an associate at a prominent boutique law firm in Toronto in the areas of corporate restructuring and commercial litigation. She later returned to her hometown of Kitchener-Waterloo and transitioned to a civil litigation practice, focused predominantly on tort and disability denial claims. Through Sandra’s diverse litigation experience, she has gained a breadth of knowledge in a variety of legal areas, which she uses to comprehensively and efficiently address her clients’ needs.
Sandra earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo, where she graduated on the Dean’s Honours List. She later obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario. While at Western, Sandra volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked as a research assistant in the areas of secured transactions and insolvency law. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.
Sandra is pleased to volunteer her time and professional expertise as a member of the Board of Directors for Nutrition for Learning. She is also a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
