At the age of thirty-eight I was accepted for entry to the Bachelor of Law program at Osgoode Law School and my call to the Bar took place in 1993.  Prior to entering Law School, I attended the University of Toronto and completed two years of undergraduate studies in Criminology and Psychology.  A very important part of my life was devoted to raising my daughter and son who are adults now.   I have a beautiful granddaughter who resides in Austria with my daughter and her husband.  At six years of age, Kinsley is fluent in both German and English.  In 1996 I opened my sole practice as a lawyer in Guelph.  I worked closely with Women in Crisis when I set up my practice as it had always been my desire to empower women who may have needed an assist to attain their goals. The community of Guelph has been very good to me and I have enjoyed assisting my clients in resolving their legal issues.  I chose to practice in the areas of Family, Real Estate and Estate Law, and based upon my extensive repeat client base, I venture to say that my choice has proven to be a successful life decision.  I am pleased to be joining Sorbara Law with a view to sharing my varied experience in assisting both new and former clients in the future.
