We are currently expanding our development group and looking for a Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
•Ability to create, organize and maintains physical files;
•Ability to create, organize and maintains electronic files in online database;
•Ability to administer deposits;
•Ability to generate and review reports as required;
•Directly communicates with clients and other lawyers offices;
•Ability to draft and amend correspondence upon direction;
•Ability to draft and prepare closing documentation; and
•Prepare reporting letters and accounts to clients.
Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:
•Excellent organization and time-management skills;
•Ability to work well under pressure;
•Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently on multiple files;
•Ability to meet deadlines while balancing different priorities;
•Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Conveyancer and Teraview;
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
•Strong attention to detail.
