Before joining SorbaraLaw, Michelle also provided legal assistance to clients on real estate and estate planning matters. These areas are frequently intertwined with family law, which provides her with a comprehensive background understanding of the wider legal landscape pertinent to family law issues.

Michelle received her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from McGill University in 2018, and she graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2021. During her time at Osgoode, Michelle's passion for Family Law was evident. She not only competed in the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition but also led as President of the Family Law Association. Her dedication and academic excellence in this field were recognized with the James C. MacDonald Award, a testament to her strong academic performance in family law, commitment to pursuing a career in this field, and a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution methods.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys travelling, re-watching episodes of "Law and Order" (a nod to her profession), and spending quality time with her family, friends, and two beloved dogs.
