Lawrence is an experienced family law counsel and mediator practicing primarily out of the Waterloo office. He is co-Chair of the local Collaborative Family Law Association and makes regular appearances in Family Court across Ontario. His practice focuses exclusively on delivering results in Divorce and Co-habitation to protect clients’ interests while helping them navigate complex social and legal challenges. He is trusted by clients to guide them through either in a Divorce for marriage couples or common law situations. Lawrence excels at finding creative solutions in decision making and care arrangements
for children, as well as property division with extensive legal knowledge with practical judgment.
Divorce, Divorce Divorce... While only 15% of matrimonial cases go to court, those are the ones that we hear about most (and make popular American television). However guiding through the negotiation of Marriage Contracts, Co-habitation Agreements and Separation Agreements, (for the other 85% remaining) takes skill and dedication. It can make all the difference in a post Divorce world.
Outside of work, Lawrence has gathered with some friends (Monday Night Jam Club) for 25 plus years where he plays guitar (poorly, yet energetically) and gigs on occasion (when the evenings libations dull the senses just enough).
Like everybody, Lawrence enjoys travel with his spouse of 35 years (and counting) and has two grown children who may bless us yet with some little musicians.
