Jide Babalola is a lawyer qualified in both Ontario and Nigeria, currently working with the firm's corporate and commercial team.
He has significant experience advising corporations and international organizations on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including commercial financing, corporate finance in developing economies, regulatory compliance, business acquisitions and sales, contract negotiation, and general corporate practice. Jide provides legal guidance to help businesses achieve their objectives.
Before joining the firm's corporate and commercial team, Jide spent over 13 years at a corporate and commercial law firm in Nigeria and completed his articles with the firm in 2024. He has been recognized as a rising star in the Nigerian banking and finance sector by the international legal directory Legal 500 from 2021 to 2023.
