Jennifer Krotz practices in the areas of Estate, Trust and Guardianship Litigation, Estate Administration and Commercial Litigation. She is a member of the Wills, Estates and Trusts group at SorbaraLAW.
Prior to joining SorbaraLAW, Jennifer was a partner at Melville, Krotz Lawyers in Kitchener, where she had practiced since 2008. She, Clarke Melville and their team moved their practice to SorbaraLAW in 2026.
Jennifer has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has also completed the Harvard Negotiation Institute workshop on Mediating Disputes.
Jennifer grew up in Waterloo Region. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and the University of Western Ontario, where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Media, Information & Technoculture and English. She is a member of the Waterloo Region Law Association and was the Co-Chair of the Estate Practitioners of Waterloo Region (a practice group within the Waterloo Region Law Association) from 2011 to 2020. She recently completed a term on the Board of Directors of Parkwood Mennonite Home and Fairview Mennonite Home, from 2016 to 2025.
