Puneet Shroff is a real estate lawyer in SorbaraLAW’s Waterloo and Guelph office, assisting clients across Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph and surrounding Ontario communities. His practice focuses on residential real estate law, including home purchases and sales, mortgage refinancing, private mortgages, pre-construction homes, condominium status certificate reviews, landlord and tenant disputes, and co-ownership agreements.

Puneet helps clients understand the legal and practical issues behind major property decisions. Whether acting for landlords, first-time homebuyers, sellers, investors, borrowers, lenders, or families purchasing property together, he provides clear advice, practical risk assessments, and steady guidance from agreement review through closing.
With a background in family law, Puneet brings a practical and empathetic approach to real estate matters involving personal, financial, and family considerations. He is known for making complex legal issues easier to understand and for helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.

Puneet earned his J.D. from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law and his B.A. (Hons.) from York University. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Waterloo Law Association and the Kitchener-Waterloo Chambers of Commerce.

Outside the office, Puneet enjoys playing squash, travelling, and spending time with his wife, son, family, and friends.
