Jamelah joined SorbaraLaw’s Commercial Real Estate team. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Children's Psychology. She began her legal studies (LLB) at the University of Leicester in the UK, where she graduated with honors. During law school, Jamelah excelled in both regional and national competitions in mooting and debating. She was also an active and influential member of the Canadian Law Society, having been consecutively nominated and elected by her peers.
Originally from Cambridge, ON, Jamelah returned to Toronto where she attended Osgoode Hall Law School, receiving a Masters of Law (LLM). She articled and practiced with a firm in the GTA before transitioning back to the Waterloo region practicing primarily real estate law.
Jamelah volunteers for the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program. She is bilingual and is proud to also provide services in Arabic.
During her free time, Jamelah enjoys being with her family and friends, travelling and patiently awaits the NBA season every year as she is an avid Raptors fan.
