Sydney is an associate in our Family Law Group. She delivers pragmatic advice with a high degree of professionalism and compassion. Sydney is highly attuned to her clients’ goals and takes pride in effectively navigating each case throughout negotiation, mediation, arbitration or litigation, depending on the circumstances. She assists clients with a diverse range of family law issues, including high-conflict parenting, child and spousal support, and property division (including complex business structures and pension division).
Sydney grew up in East Gwillimbury, Ontario. She returned to the area after graduating from the University of Ottawa, where she earned her J.D. During her legal studies, Sydney was recognized as a skilled negotiator particularly in the area of family law, winning top awards at the BLG Family Law Negotiation Competition and the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition. After being admitted to the bar, Sydney practiced almost exclusively in the area of family law with a respected firm in Durham Region.
In her spare time, Sydney enjoys rock climbing, golfing and spending time at the cottage with her family.
