Jill Annett was called to the Ontario Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor in September 2018.
Jill grew up in Listowel, Ontario. She attended Wilfrid Laurier University where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology with a minor in Law. She graduated on the Dean’s Honours List with high distinction. While in University Jill devoted her time to the Criminology Student Association in which she held the offices of Treasurer in her first year and President in her second and third year. In her fourth year, Jill was a research assistant.
After obtaining her B.A., Jill attended the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. Jill was an active member of the Women in Law Association and also volunteered for the Mental Health Association. Jill completed Lakehead’s Integrated Practice Curriculum at Sorbara Law from January to April 2018. Jill finished in the top 5% of her class, graduating the program with first class standing.
In her spare time, Jill enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Jill works out of our Waterloo office and is a member of our Corporate Commercial Group.
