Sawyer is an articling student at SorbaraLAW. Sawyer has experience with a variety of practice areas, including Wills & Estates, Contract Law, Employment Law, and Tort Law, and is currently completing a Residential Real Estate rotation.
Sawyer obtained their Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. Sawyer was an active participant in various extracurriculars. Sawyer was selected to represent Osgoode Hall Law School at the National Family Law Negotiation Competition, recruited as a Director of the Osgoode Advocacy Society, and participated in various moots and other negotiation competitions. Sawyer was the recipient of The Honourable Warren K. Winkler Award, which is awarded to one student annually based on exceptional academic performance in any labour or employment law course.
Prior to law school, Sawyer completed their Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Global Development Studies at Queen’s University.
